Yard House

Everything was really good that we got. It was a bit noisy in this place but I guess that's expected on a Saturday night. I asked for a steak, medium, it actually came out medium. I have found that it is difficult for people to do that correctly. If you do get a steak, I usually do not recommend using any kind of steak sauce, however, the one they provided was super super tasty. If I had to find a fault in anything, it would be in the asparagus that I got, it was a bit chewy, it probably needed to be cooked a little longer.

Short review. First time visiting any location but had searched the one downtown. This was closer and open so was an easy choice! Arrived around 11pm after leaving Six Flags (Fall Festival). Got seated immediately with a party of four. Of course the Magic City Classic was playing so I was locked in (HBCU supporter here). They hit us with a round of waters, menus and we immediately got the German pretzel for an appetizer. We had an idea of what we wanted which were tacos, a burger or sandwich and nachos. All the items came out quickly, hot, well seasoned, well presented and the price for all four meals with two appetizers was under $100! I can attribute that to declining adult beverages this time but maybe the next trip, because this is a must return! Didn’t want to take pictures of other folks food but they all looked good (Korean Cheesesteak, chicken nachos, spicy edamames, and carne asada tacos) and everyone enjoyed.

Great service, food is good and not too crowded. We ordered the tuna poke nachos, spicy jambalaya and the two peppers burger. Would definitely come back again if I’m shopping around.

Cumin Chili Shrimp tacos were delicious! Rice was a little dry and Cesar salad was good. Calamari was okay… had batter than actually calamari. Ordered a few drinks, they were good… sweet and a little strong. Server was very nice and good! 4 for atmosphere because outside seating allows animals, which is okay but not what we preferred. But luckily we were able to move tables

Yard House at La Cantera is always really good! It has a fun vibe with many TV screens for watching sports; and the service is excellent. This place has probably one of the best spicy tuna stacks around—a healthy & delicious option. At my last visit, a very nice and friendly waitress, Andrea, provided excellent service and made my dining experience wonderful!

The food at Yard House never disappoints—it's always great tasting and flavorful. I particularly enjoy visiting during their happy hours, as they offer fantastic deals that make the experience even more enjoyable. The drink selection is impressive which they allow sampling.

Parking is a inconvenience with the new premium pay for parking taking up the usual parking spaces nearby Yard House. There was no wait this visit, and we were sat quickly. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup. Temperature was warm to hot (one side) overall the flavor was good , would order again. For the main food I ordered the orange chicken and it was Temperature hot and crunchy and had a good amount of spice. The Service was just okay. Lots of time before the order being taken, no straws for the drinks for 15 min and apps came out and still no straws. Food came out & food runner never brought straws when asked. Then the server came to check on us, gave us straws, got refills the second checkup. Overall it could have been excellent had there been more attention to detail but it was still a good experience even with not being able to drink our beverages for that time.

We started with the jumbo pretzel , and it was amazing. It came with two dipping sauces — a creamy, cheese-like sauce and a spicy brown mustard. The pretzel was huge, fluffy on the inside, and had the perfect amount of salt. A great way to start the meal! For my entrée, I ordered the 20-oz Bone-In Ribeye, and it was truly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and served hot. The buttered mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful, and the baby broccoli had a nice char, pairing perfectly with the steak. The steak sauce on the side was rich and delicious. Overall, Yard House delivered an amazing experience from start to finish. I would absolutely go back and highly recommend it!
